Well, I (finally) realized that making a blog would probably be the best way to update people this semester in Jerusalem, so I caved and did it! However, I'm not making any promises just yet about the quantity or quality of my posts on here... I've never been a blogger, so we'll have to see what happens. But I'm definitely excited to be able to share some of my experiences in this incredible place; it's been two and half weeks, and I'm already having the time of my life! So check in once in a while, and I'll do my best to record at least the highlights! :)
Cheesy, but a new favorite candid photo--this country is so gorgeous :)
The view from my balcony!
With my fabulous roommate Tessa at the Pool of Bethesda
Shepherding at Neot Kedumim--I may well have a future in this ;)
Pomegranates are in season right now--fresh squeezed juice in the Old City with Stephani!
On the Mt. of Olives with the lovely Tahna, overlooking the Jewish cemetery with the Temple Mount in the background
That's all for now--time to finish packing for Egypt! :)
Love the background, Mere. Is this a photo you took at the pomegranate-juice/scarf vendor's shop? Have fun in Egpyt! Don't drink the water! And take some Immodium with you! Love you -- can't wait to hear about the Nile, etc. when you get back to Jerusalem. xoxo
Mere WOW! Having the time of your life, huh? You didn't invite me..... Love the photos, updates and background. SO colorful! Love the life, sis. Can't wait to hear more. xoxo
